This role executes the corporate marketing strategy and initiatives locally while providing insight to the corporate marketing team on how these strategies are best refined for optimum local execution.
In addition, this role is the on-site liaison for operations, research, IT, and accounting which are supported remotely.
The overall goal of this position is to provide the best transaction, marketing, and business development, support in our industry while enhancing the SRS brand.
The successful candidate in this position will play a critical role in the success of SRS’ industry-leading retail real estate brokers and the presence of the SRS brand in the local market.
This role requires a can-do, customer-service-focused attitude and offers a well-rounded marketing position with opportunities for growing knowledge and experience in all facets of marketing, business development, graphic design, and commercial real estate.
This position is primarily supported by the corporate marketing team which provides access to the best marketing software, tools, and templates in the industry as well as ongoing training.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIESTransaction, Marketing, & Business Development SupportEnsure all communications, presentations, and collateral enhance the SRS brand and are consistent with the brand guidelines and precedents set by the corporate marketing team.
Design, print and digital marketing packages, tour books, and presentations for property listings, growing retailer clients, and business development pitches.
COM, CoStar, LoopNet, and potentially other third-party sites.Maintain, update, and segment contact databases, email distribution lists, and party invitation lists.
Assist remote research analysts with market aerial map creation as well as demographic and traffic count research as needed.
Prepare documents related to transactions, which may include letters of intent, commission agreements, contract forms, and reporting spreadsheets.
Assist brokers in managing transaction activity related to leases, acquisitions, and dispositions.Utilize Apto (Salesforce-based business management software) to assist brokers in tracking the progress of their business development pursuits.
Assist in aspects of computer usage related to marketing including e-mail signatures, styling documents according to SRS brand standards, and printingCommunications, Public Relations, Social Media and EventsCreate transaction-related press releases and deploy to local media.
Analyze results and work to strengthen relationships with local media outlets.Revise new hire and promotion press releases created by corporate marketing for local media distribution.
Work with local team members to submit market / industry award applications for local office and brokers.Stay abreast of speaking opportunities to better position the local team as leaders in the industry.
Assist in event planning for regional trade shows or nearby corporate events.Assist brokers with enhancing and maintaining their professional presence on LinkedIn.
Manage local office social media accounts by maintaining brand standards, distributing relevant content regularly and increasing engagement and followers.
- QUALIFICATIONS : Team player and customer-service-focused attitudeCommercial real estate experience requiredBachelor’s degree preferred (preferably in marketing, communications, advertising, or public relations)Strong attention to detail and eye for design;
- Excellent grammar and proofreading skillsStrong organizational, project management and communication skillsMust be willing and able to wear multiple hats, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlinesIntermediate to advanced Adobe InDesign and Photoshop skills are required;
