General Duties : The Marketing Coordinator will oversee the development and implementation of creative materials under the supervision of the Marketing Director.

This candidate will produce digital and print materials needed for promotional and marketing initiatives of the organization, as well as manage the school's social media presence.

This position also includes photographing school events and activities as needed. The successful candidate will help maintain a cohesive brand, strategy, and message across these mediums.

Areas of ResponsibilityCreate graphically-driven assets for use online in digital advertising, social media, email campaigns, etc.

Create graphically-driven assets for use in printed materials such as event materials, t-shirts, brochures, posters, etc.

Photograph school events and activities (for example : Graduation, annual Gala fundraiser, school plays, special events during the school day, etc);

Must also know basic photo editing / manipulationSocial Media Management (includes creating and posting content on Instagram and Facebook as well as monitoring and responding to comments / messages the school receives)Execute a comprehensive marketing plan to reinforce the school's brand experienceDevelop and maintain media relationships to tellLakewood Park's story to the communityCommunicate with target audiencesProfessional QualificationsBachelor's degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related fieldStrong visual portfolio of design and photography workProficiency in Adobe Suite (specifically Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop)Familiarity with Google products (specifically Gmail, Drive, Docs, and Forms)Strong written and verbal communication skillsEvidence of strong organizational skills and ability to finish tasks in a timely mannerAbility to work collaboratively within a team environment as well as ability to self-manage during projectsPersonal QualificationsShows evidence of a growing personal relationship with Jesus ChristAttends a church with a doctrinal statement in alignment with Lakewood ParkUnderstands and protects the confidential nature of the information entrusted to him / herValues life-long learning and has a teachable spiritSupervision and Evaluation

The Marketing Coordinator is supervised and evaluated by the Admissions Director.Commitment Required

This part-time, exempt position works 15 hours per week on-site, with additional hours as needed for special projects.
