We are seeking a high-energy, self-motivated, individual to join our growing team as a Service Writer in

Atlanta, GA !

Typical Duties and Responsibilities :

Verify all checklists, condition reports and required paperwork are filed and stored in the appropriate databasesProvide quotes for customer repairs and billable chargesEnsure all billable charge service orders are processed and invoiced timelyEnsure cut sheets, manuals, and other organizational information is entered and up-to-date in the appropriate databasesRegularly update unit condition pictures in the appropriate databasesPrepare any vendor warranty claims and log them appropriatelyPrepare internal warranty claims and log them appropriatelyOrganize and prioritize all fleet vehicles, rigs and tractors using ELD softwareEnsure all annual DOT inspections are up-to-date and stores appropriatelyReview and organize all field failure reports to be reviewed by the service managerWork with the parts department on purchase orders to ensure all parts are received for the appropriate service orderAssist the yard workforce as neededQualifications

Associates degree in logistics, supply chain management, or combination of equivalent education and related experienceFork Lift certification or ability to obtain certificationExperience in the construction industry preferredKnowledge of receiving and shipping practices and proceduresProficient in MS Office and other required software applicationsExperience in both general automotive and diesel auto partsExperience ordering and maintaining large quantities of auto partsSpecific Expectations
