Summary You will serve as an OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST of NAVY SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY. Responsibilities You will make recommendations on matters pertaining to communications systems and requirements.
You will conduct special studies and analysis for communications missions that require a variety of unusual and highly specialized communications equipment.
You will address communications across most network mediums in order to achieve robust reliability of communications systems.
You will determine feasibility of newly developed communications equipment and techniques in order to perform specific network functions throughout the agency.
You will provide telecommunications trainings and complete necessary equipment repairs and modifications. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following : 1) Applying knowledge on tactical radio communications and antenna theory with the ability to adapt existing guidelines and procedures on communications;
2) Articulating performance data received from software / hardware studies in order to conduct solo research and tests; and 3) Teaching a wide range of groups and the ability to modify training curriculum based on audience, training location, and resources.
