With market leader position of MediaTek SoC design, MediaTek GPU IP team is committed for industry leading, feature rich and PPA competitive GFX IP optimization, customization and development. The GFX IP will be not only deployed in flagship and mainstream mobile SoC, but also served as fundamental technology for adjacent markets like laptop, IoT, AI, VR/AR, automotive etc. The team is now hiring all areas of GPU talents in all levels including Architecture, uArchitecture, SW driver, Compiler, Performance, Power and Model engineers to join San Diego/San Jose office. Role and Responsibilities Develop a bit accurate function model to validate Arch, RTL and Driver Root cause problems found in conformance tests, games and benchmarks Run, triage, and debug functional tests to identify issues found in hardware and software Work with Architecture team to prototype changes for next generation Requirement BS/MS or higher in Computer Science or closely related field 3 years of experience in GPU, Compute, AI or related area Good understanding of GPU/Compute pipeline Strong programming knowledge in C/C Strong debug skill Good written and oral communication skills Knowledge of Vulkan, OpenGL or DirectX API is a plus Knowledge of GPU architecture is a plus Strong python/perl skill is a plus
