Duties:
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation for elderly patients.
- Monitor and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Report any changes in the patient's condition to the supervising nurse.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.
- Assist with mobility, including transferring, turning, and repositioning patients.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
- Work closely with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate family members on the care and needs of elderly patients.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Certified GNA.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
