Job Posting for Part-time PRN Medical Assistant at Medical Administrative Professionals

We are seeking a motivated, customer-oriented part-time PRN Medical Assistant (MA) to to provide support to our Interventional Radiologists at our Denver based IR clinic at Presbyterian St. Luke's (PSL) on Wednesdays from 12:30 to 5:00 p.m.
Essential Functions:
Shows patients to examination rooms and prepares them for the provider by verifying medical information and measuring vital signs, including taking blood pressure and manual ABIs.
Records patients' medical history and vital signs in the electronic chart.
Instructs, escorts, and prepares patients for clinical consults, wound checks, and minor invasive procedures.
Prepares exam supplies and maintains a sterile environment for the performing provider.
Performs a variety of tasks that keep the IR office organized and clean.
Maintains and ensures the examination room is clean and stocked with the appropriate supplies, medications, and linen.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Must have successfully completed a Medical Assistant training program and have one year of work experience.
Must be Certified as a Medical Assistant (CCMA or CMA).
Required Knowledge:
Able to work independently and with high attention to detail
Proficient with the RIS and PACS, eClinincal works preferred
Courteous & respectful
Able to communicate clearly
Able to perform additional tasks quickly and efficiently
