Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of the clinical research coordinator is to manage the clinical aspects of conducting clinical research trials and the staff working in the designated assigned areas. The clinical research coordinator is required to have an in-depth knowledge of all protocols and their requirements for the assigned areas and utilize good clinical practices and ICH guidelines set forth by federal regulations in managing the day-to-day operations. Along with the investigator, the clinical research coordinator will screen, enroll, and follow study subjects, ensuring protocol compliance and close monitoring of staff while the subjects are in the study.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
This person can be a registered nurse or LPN with a current license to practice, have a baccalaureate degree, medical assistant, or have background experience, at least 2 years as a clinical research coordinator.
CPR, CITI GCP, and IATA certified or willing and able to certify.
