Medical Courier

Position Overview:
We seek a highly motivated and responsible individual to join our team as a Medical Courier. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, proactive, and accountable, capable of working independently to efficiently deliver crucial medications. This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding the highest service standards. This is a chance to be your own boss with limited micromanagement!

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport patient medication to homes, businesses, and other locations as required.
• Follow established routes and schedules while also adapting to changes and unforeseen circumstances as needed.
• Verify the accuracy of transported items, ensuring proper handling and storage according to established protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, supervisors, and other team members to provide updates on delivery status and address any issues or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles, ensuring they are properly maintained and equipped for safe operation.
• Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines governing the transportation of medical materials, including compliance with HIPAA and other privacy laws.
• This is a 1099 position, meaning YOU pay for fuel and expenses
• This pays $3 per stop, with most drivers averaging 25-30 stops a day
• I am looking for an AFTERNOON crew that will average 20-25 stops in roughly a 5-6 hour period. Some days will be light, and some will be heavy.
• I'm looking for flexibility!
• I'm also looking for a STRICTLY On-demand driver. This person would ONLY pickup stat orders and deliver them directly after pickup. This can range from 6 to 12 a day and can vary. Some stats come in throughout the day, and there is also a pickup at 12:30 PM everyday for on-demand at a specific pharmacy.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
