Regency Health & Rehabilitation Center has an exciting new opportunity for a full time Medical Records Coordinator at our 60-bed skilled nursing center in beautiful Yorktown!
The Medical Records Coordinator is responsible for the overall maintenance of medical records, to include ensuring each record is properly labeled, complete, organized, and controlled. Includes Release of Information, Patient Information Logs, Medicare Documentation, Death Reporting & Confidentiality.
Experience: Must have 3( ) years as a medical records coordinator in a nursing home or hold an LPN license. Applicant must possess above average communication skills, the ability to follow directions and type at least 40 wpm, excellent organizational skills, and high emotional intelligence. Must exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 25 pounds frequently.
