Berkshire Health & Rehabilitation Center has an exciting opportunity for a Unit Manager, RN in our 180 bed skilled rehab center in Vinton. Join our experienced Nursing Administration Team! Both our Director of Nursing and our Assistant Director of Nursing have been with our company for more than 10 years!

The Unit Manager will oversee clinical operations of the unit and is responsible for staff supervision of nurses and CNAs, as well as interfacing with physicians, QI reporting and follow-up, and providing clinical expertise to staff as needed. Typical hours are Monday through Friday day shift, with some weekend and on-call duties. This role is also considered a hiring manager role.
Requirements:
•Current license by the Virginia Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse.
•Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations as they relate to long term care.
•Nursing Management experience preferred but we also love to develop new talent!
•BSN preferred.
