Must be proficient in the following job duties:
- Handling an extremely busy environment with professionalism and a calm demeanor
- Managing all administrative and clerical day to day functions
- Appointment scheduling
- Overseeing automated patient appointment reminders
- Verifying patient insurances
- Verifying referrals and co-pay amounts
- Answering phones to minimize calls going to auto-attendant
- Maintaining physician's schedules
- Meticulous data entry with new patient intake uploads
- Must be comfortable and proficient in collecting patient balances in full at time of service.
- Must be willing to learn new job skills, including obtaining prior authorizations
A minimum of 3 years prior medical/surgical receptionist experience with front desk check-in is required in order to be considered for this position.
