Job Summary: Entry Level Position

Account Representative to provide billing and collections support for multiple medical practice clients.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Performs various medical billing and collections functions.
  • Outbound/Inbound calls insurance providers, patients and clients
  • Verify eligibility of insurance presented
  • Follow-up on aged accounts
  • Send correspondence to patients and insurance carriers.
  • Review medical records and explanation of benefits.
  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills with clients.
  • Practice time management for work duties and attendance.
  • Maintain confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations

Qualifications and Skills

Education: Minimum: High School Diploma

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-year experience in medical billing office, data entry and collections
  • Knowledge of billing claim forms
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish/maintain effective working relationships with patients, co-workers and clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
