Job Posting for Medical Assistant at Medical Practice

We are a very busy medical practice located on the North Shore of Chicago. We are looking for a full time medical assistant who is friendly, energetic and well organized to join our team. The position consists daily of getting patient vitals ,updating medication lists, updating pharmacies, prescription refills, rooming patients, stocking exam rooms, assisting Physician's with minor procedures when needed, preparing patient for in office CT, sterilizing, medical supplies inventory, checking patient demographics, scanning documents, patient appointments at Check In/out when needed, phones and other tasks delegated by the Physician or management. This position rotates one Saturday a month and once a week in our Long Grove location.

Required Qualifications

Current CPR preferred but not required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.

Team Player and able to interact effectively with patients, staff, Physicians and management.

We do perform background checks

We offer a Competitive salary and benefits. Monday -Friday with some Saturdays in the rotation. Paid Federal Holidays off, Vacation, Health Insurance and PTO is earned after the introductory period is over.

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • BLS Certification (Preferred)
  • Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
