Agile Project Manager II – Job Description

The Agile Project Manager II must be a strong communicator and can assess complex scenarios and make recommendations to resolve issues in the best interest of the organization. Implements technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program and communicating them clearly to stakeholders across the business. Assesses situations to determine the importance, urgency, and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization. Leads project teams in the execution of small to mid-size projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Facilitate project/team planning and delivery activities, including but not limited to backlog/scope definition and refinement, prioritization, planning, estimation, demos, retrospectives, and stand-ups
• Partner with management to remove impediments, resolve conflicts and issues that occur to ensure project velocity
• Communicate project schedule with stakeholders
• Collaborate with management to ensure they are aware of resource allocation needs and impact to project deliverables
• Adhere to project and quality related processes
• Strong desire to uphold best practices
• Ability to anticipate changes and impacts
• Iterative mindset focused on constant improvement
• Breaks complex problems into approachable pieces
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Handles pressure well
• Delivery focused
• Proven success in delivering projects while ensuring satisfaction
• Proven problem-solving skill from assessment to solution selection

• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, providing options and recommendations relating to resolve issues, mitigating risks, and resolving escalations

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 4 years Scrum Master experience
• 1-3 years of information technology experience and/or business experience
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to manage work across technologies, domains, and business functions

Preferences:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
• Scrum master certification (CSM) or PMI-ACP preferred
• Staffing Industry experience
• Travel Nursing experience
• Medical field or terminology background
