Responsibilities :
A Day in the life of a Medical Records Clerk :
As a Medical Records Clerk you will be responsible for assisting with organizing, sorting, and filing all incoming and outgoing patient information. The Medical Records Clerk will also make copies, mail, and/or fax patient chart information as requested and authorized to do so. Assist in preparing and filing all internal and external correspondence and medical record according to the filing system. The Medical Records Clerk also keeps a record of new patient appointments and retrieves appropriate information from referring physician offices.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an office, preferably in a medical setting.

As a Medical Records Clerk you will be responsible for assisting with organizing, sorting, and filing all incoming and outgoing patient information. The Medical Records Clerk will also make copies, mail, and/or fax patient chart information as requested and authorized to do so. The Medical Records Clerk also keeps a record of new patient appointments and retrieves appropriate information from referring physician offices.
Requirements for the Medical Records Clerk :
- Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Required: Minimum of 3 years office experience
- Required: Previous experience in medical records
- Required: COVID vaccination or medical waiver
- Required: Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen
- Required: Must be reliable and a quick learner and have ability to multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment
- Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Preferred: Medical Office Experience
- Preferred: Medical Records Experience
- Preferred: RHIT certification
- $15.00 an hour (depending on experience level)
- Weekly Pay
- OFF WEEKENDS FOR THIS POSITION!
- Direct Deposit Pay
