Job Description

MUSC Health – Columbia Medical Center Downtown is seeking a full-time BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist with Structural Heart training for a well-established, nationally ranked heart and vascular practice located in Columbia, South Carolina. Ideal candidates will have experience performing angioplasty and stenting, atherectomy, embolic protection, percutaneous valve repair, and balloon angioplasty.

Every year, our exceptionally skilled physicians save and transform hundreds of lives. We invite you to join a hardworking team of 22 cardiologists, 2 cardiovascular surgeons, and 18 cardiology APPs to provide advanced treatment and personalized care to patients in Columbia, SC, and the surrounding communities.

About the position:

  • 25-35 patients per day
  • 1:07 call schedule on weekdays, 1:10 on weekends
  • Access to cardiac CT, MRI, 3D Echo, PET and SPECT equipment, electrophysiology equipment, and a cath lab on site
  • Dedicated group of providers promoting teamwork, efficiency, and excellent patient care
  • Well-respected Heart & Vascular practice with a 40-year history in the community
  • Quick ramp-up time with excellent local marketing and outreach support
