Multi-specialty medical practice has an immediate opening for a Practice Manager.
Practice Manager will Responsible for the administration and daily operations of the clinic.
-Provide leadership and operational direction to the core functions of the practice. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Manage daily operations to ensure clinic runs smoothly and efficiently.
-Provide leadership to physicians and staff in streamlining operations to ensure quality patient care and maximize patient satisfaction.
-Oversee staff schedules, workflow and productivity. Oversee all personnel recruiting, training, scheduling, staff meetings, evaluations, administration of disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
-Maintain physician/staff/patient relationships conducive to a positive environment. Maintain and encourage efficient and effective communication with all team members.
-Ensure staff adheres to Compliance Programs, HIPAA regulations and all other regulatory standards i.e. annual employee health requirements, mandatory trainings, certifications, credentialing and licensing.
-Ensure office space, equipment and supplies are provided and maintained appropriately for medical staff, support staff and patient care.
-Participate in professional development opportunities to keep current with health care trends and practices.
-Prepare reports and manage assigned projects as necessary.
Position Requirements * Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience in healthcare or physician practice. * Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Health Care Administration or related field strongly preferred. * Knowledge of health administration practices and procedures. * Ability to multitask, organize and prioritize functions of a fast paced unit/practice. * Effective analytical, evaluation and planning skills. * Prior experience with EMR / practice management system software. * Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills; while maintaining professionalism, tact and discretion. Working Conditions/Physical Demands Requires sitting and standing associated with an office environment. Performs complex, occasionally challenging varied tasks requiring independent knowledge and exercise of independent judgment
