What are the responsibilities and job description for the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Specialist position at Mediforce DME?
Mediforce is a BOC accredited home medical equipment and supplies company that specializes in the following services: Diabetic Shoes, Mastectomy Supplies, Orthotics, Mobility Aids, Adaptive Aids, Vehicle Lifts and Foot-Pain Relief Products. We are looking for an individual who have at least 1 year experience in DME as biller, intake or customer service. Here are some of the job responsibilities:
- Receives and responds to incoming calls.
- Contacts referral sources to advise of referral status
- Assist customers by phone or in person and receives orders from referral sources according to the P&P.
- Fills out order forms, determines charges and coverage for services requested.
- Have knowledge with Medical Equipment and supplies
- Assists with evaluation and dispensing of diabetic shoes
- Implement an organized filling system
- Provide good quality customer service when representing Mediforce
- Scheduling of appointments.
- Other task and activities as assigned.
- Be willing to train in all aspect of services provided.

Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
