We now seek a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at the Anderson County Detention Center in Anderson, SC, to join a diverse team that brings knowledge and skills from a variety of backgrounds. This is a weekend shift (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday, from 11am to 11:30pm).
What You'll Do:
Our Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) support and assist with patient care.
- Works closely with the center's physician in providing proper medical care for those confined.
- Schedules dental and medical appointments per physician's orders.
- Conducts medical history interviews and prepares medical history and physical reports.
- Administers medication per physician's orders.
- Maintains control of all medications and drugs on hand in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Assures that policies and procedures regarding the Medical Department are followed.
- Assures that the medical office is clean and properly stocked.

- Completion of an accredited nursing program
- Active License as a Practical Nurse
- Current CPR/BLS certification prior to start date
- Successful clearance of a Criminal and Security background check, and Drug Screening
