This position is responsible for the set up and operation of 3 axis CNC vertical mills.  Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Download programs into the CNC machine 
  • Install proper tooling required per program and preform tool offsets
  • Set work offsets
  • Understand G-code
  • Understand and interpret part drawings/prints
  • Run and inspect part to submit to QC for approval
  • Make necessary adjustments to achieve quality product
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Required Experience/Skills:

  • 2-3 years experience in CNC Setup preferred
  • Knowledge of measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc)
  • Prior experience as a CNC Operator
