What are the responsibilities and job description for the LVN (OB/GYN) position at MediQuest Staffing?
Prestigious hospital in Los Angeles County, is searching for an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse to join their dedicated OB-GYN team! The ideal candidate should also be flexible and capable of floating to other locations as needed.
The LVN duties include assisting healthcare providers in OB-GYN procedures, perform essential nursing tasks including blood draws and vital sign monitoring, maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems and other LVN tasks.
Pay Rate Range: $32.00 - $40.00/hr. DOE
Shift: Monday – Friday / 8:00AM-5:00PM
City: Los Angeles, CA
Licensed Vocational Nurse Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of LVN experience with a specific focus on OB-GYN experience.
- Proficiency in a wide range of OB-GYN procedures, including but not limited to PAP smears, D&C, IUD placement & removal, NST, etc.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Certification in Blood Draw procedures.
- Strong familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software. Knowledge of EPIC is preferred.
