The Medical Assistant will play a vital role in the delivery of exceptional patient care by efficiently managing both Front and Back-office responsibilities. This position requires a strong emphasis on back-office tasks while ensuring seamless coordination with the internal medicine team. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in performing various clinical duties, including blood draws, immunizations, and injections, along with effectively managing administrative tasks to ensure an optimal workflow.
Pay Rate Range: $22.00/hr.
Shift: Monday – Friday / 8:00AM – 5:00PM
City: North Hollywood, CA
Medical Assistant Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the internal medicine team to provide exceptional patient care with a focus on back-office responsibilities.
- Perform precise and caring immunizations, blood draws, and injections.
- Efficiently manage both front and back-office duties to ensure a streamlined workflow.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with hospital protocols and industry standards.
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and minor procedures.
Medical Assistant Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 years of combined Front and Back Office Medical Assistant experience in an internal medical setting.
- Proficiency in EMR software, preferably Epic.
- Experience with EKG procedures.
- Valid Medical Assistant certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- High School Diploma
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to patient care
