What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Manager position at Medix?
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Initiate and monitor various KPI's throughout the Operations on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Working knowledge of an ERP system required
- Set objectives for each line for working shifts and hold the team responsible for the deliverables
- Maintain warehouse finished product count for secondary and final inventory, provide the final inventory count to the shipping department.
- Reconciliation of inventory variances
- Work closely with internal management team to execute all planned activities, escalate issues to upper management where needed to help make a decision
- Manage and model the safety culture and strive for 100% compliance concerning safety policies and procedures
Knowledge & Skills:
- Work closely with the planning team on putting together a schedule based on customer priorities
- Evaluating the asset allocation to execute the S&OP process as needed
- Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management to execute the packaging activities
- Excellent written and verbal skills, critical and creative thinking, good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organization and efficient time-management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure, requires the analytical ability to handle administrative duties
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- At least 5 years of management experience in a manufacturing setting
