Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient admissions and perform comprehensive physical examinations.
- Execute detailed medical histories and physical assessments.
- Prescribe medications and oversee drug therapies.
- Review and evaluate the efficacy and safety of prescribed medications.
- Diagnose, examine, and treat patients dealing with medical illnesses caused by chronic substance use disorders.
- Collaborate in evaluating, recommending, and managing patients’ medical requirements, ensuring safe and high-quality treatment.
- Cultivate a warm and inviting environment for all patients.
- Valid Family Nurse Practitioner license with a minimum of two years of practical experience.
- Current NYS License and Registration.
- DEA license for prescribing narcotics.
- Ability to secure Data 200 waiver upon employment.
- Previous experience in addiction treatment is advantageous.
