Job Posting for Director of Nursing- Capacity Management at medstar
Leads the day-to-day bed capacity activities of the hospital by assessing and directing the flow of patients from all access avenues through admission, discharge, and transfer. Anticipates and reports admission trends to Hospital Administration, overseeing patient placement assignments, and serving as the clinical liaison to Nursing Units, Case Management, physician leaders, other providers, and all clinical departments. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and MedStar Health's philosophy, policies, procedures, and standards.
