We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician IV to join our dynamic team at Medtronic. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our lab's organization and cleanliness, inventory of equipment, ordering components, assisting with prototype builds, scheduling shipments, and carrying out system and software updates. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of our lab facilities.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$68,800.00 - $103,200.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

Key Responsibilities:
- Lab Management: Work with the R&D team to ensure that the lab is clean and organized. Identify and order necessary components and supplies to ensure the lab is well-stocked and equipped for ongoing projects.
- Prototyping: Assist with building and assembling R&D prototypes and fixtures including PCB reworks, cable assemblies, and mechanical fixtures.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of lab equipment and components, ensuring all items are properly logged and tracked.
- Equipment maintenance and Calibration: Perform routine maintenance, assist with the coordination of equipment calibration, and perform equipment repairs to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
- Shipment Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule shipments of equipment and components, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, and updates performed on lab equipment.
- Compliance: Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Nice to Have:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in soldering and common hand tools, knowledge of inventory management systems, and experience with software updates.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with safety standards.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently and independently.
