POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Provide technical, educational, clinical and sales support to assist the Region in meeting Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) sales and customer service objectives.

* As this is a field based role, there may be up to 80% travel within the assigned territory. Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy. In addition, your driving record will be reviewed and will be considered as part of your application, and you will need to produce or obtain an auto insurance policy. *
*Clinical Specialists are required to be within their assigned territory each day to be available as unscheduled needs arise. Clinical Specialists are periodically required to work weekends, evenings and nights. *

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Technical Support / Clinical Support
- Represents Medtronic CAS during ablations procedures to provide troubleshooting and other technical assistance
- Receives technical inquiries by customers. Researches solutions to questions or problems (e.g., Catheter, Console, Generator support)
· Educational Support
o Educates and trains physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to CAS products and related procedures
§ One-on-one training sessions
§ In-service education programs
§ Seminars and/or outside symposiums
o Assists RM and field training department in educating/training new Clinical Specialists and Account Managers
o Provides training and resources for hospital staff to enable them to conduct training for their personnel
· Sales Support
o Updates sales representatives concerning procedure. Immediately notifies Account Manager regarding issues or problems requiring follow-up.
o Serves as effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service and support
o Promotes the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures
o Understands national, regional and territory sales objectives. Works in partnership with Account Manager to achieve and exceed goals
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME
· High School diploma PLUS a minimum 11 years of work experience in healthcare within an EP, Cath Lab setting or sales in cardiac field
OR
· Associate degree PLUS a minimum of 9 years of work experience in healthcare within an EP, Cath Lab setting or sales in cardiac field
OR
· Bachelor degree PLUS a minimum 7 years work experience in healthcare within an EP, Cath Lab setting or sales in cardiac field
· IBHRE or RCIS or RCES Certification required
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (optional):
· B.A./B.S. Degree in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or technical discipline with minimum of four year’s work experience in cardiac field, hospital/clinic or sales
· Proven track record with technical training assignments
· Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, in a hospital/clinic or EP medical sales providing technical / clinical support
· Ability to travel more than 75% of the time
· Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy. In addition, your driving record will be reviewed and will be considered as part of your application

· Ability to freely move throughout the facility, use a phone, keyboard and mouse, visually able to interact with personal computers
· Must be able to stand/sit/walk for 8 hours a day
· Must have a valid driver’s license
· Ability to travel up to 75%

In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals. Learn more about total rewards on page 6 here.
The provided base salary range is used nationally. The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc
