We are looking for:
In-House Laboratory Veterinary Assistant
What you’ll do:
- Preparing and processing point of care and reference laboratory samples
- Ability to relay important medical and financial information
- Understanding the basics of inventory control, stocking and logging of controlled
- substances
- Maintaining proper documentation in electronic medical records
- Utilizing and maintaining various medical equipment, especially point of care lab equipment and centrifuge
- Cleaning and sanitizing of the clinical areas
- Communicating professionally with clients, referral partners and co-workers both in
- person and on the phone

- Ability to multi-task, self-motivated and strong attention to detail
- Work successfully as a team member and autonomously
- Sense of urgency, Critical thinking skills
- Effective patient restraint
- Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Prior veterinary experience required
