The Regulatory Compliance Manager II will support 10-15 facilities. Along with the Director Regulatory Compliance, this position will participate in FMOS training for the field. This position will be located at Home Office.

The Regulatory Compliance Manager II will support 10-15 facilities. Along with the Director Regulatory Compliance, this position will participate in FMOS training for the field. Leadership and Program Implementation (40%)
- Work with the current Support Team and Director with the implementation of Medxcel’soperational program, Facilities Management Operating Systems (FMOS), thus enabling on-site leaders to succeed
- Provide guidance to teams for program creation and delivery
Operational Support Management (20%)
- Deliver the means and methods for a successful transition from the existing hospital system to Medxcel’s FMOS
- Create action plans to ensure operational and regulatory compliance for new and existing Medxcel business units
- Work with the Manager of Compliance Support to transition Medxcel’s policies and operational procedures to hospital associates
- Provide support for corporate-wide and regional strategic initiatives as assigned
- Develop and deliver the initial training needed for onsite associates to migrate to the Medxcel model of operations
- Perform Life Safety and Safety Assessments of healthcare facilities as part of the FMOS implementation process
- Develop action plans to remediate issues identified as areas of improvement
- Supports the sales process by assisting with operational and regulatory analyses and by providing technical support in the development of service proposals
On-going Compliance Management (40%)
- Assist the on-site Medxcelteam to achieve consistent high performance through development and execution of control; this is designed to assist in developing the on-site team to better meet their service delivery objectives and create high customer satisfaction
- Assist in the performance of in-depth quality reviews of site operations, using the tools provided by Medxcel, and establish on-going plans, goals, and objectives, to correct deficiencies and improve performance
- Assist in the establishment and approval of training, staffing, and resource plans and monitor performance relative to such plans
- Hold full accountability for achieving service excellence, regulatory compliance, and organizational development goals
Education:
- Associate degree required.
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline preferred.
License/Certification:
- Must become CHFM certified within 2 years of hire date required.
- Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) preferred
Experience:
- 2 years’ experience working in healthcare facilities management or field management in healthcare facilities outsourcing required
- Experience with the Joint Commission’s Environment of Care and Life Safety Chapters for the Physical Environment required
- Experience with NFPA 101 Life Safety Code and other regulatory requirements required
- Experience deploying service programs preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of hospital operations and hierarchy of leadership
- Working knowledge of medical facility systems and equipment
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint)
- Strong coordinator skills including, communication, prioritization, troubleshooting, and completion of goals
- Problem solving — identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyses information skillfully
- Planning/organizing — prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently, and develop realistic action plans
- Ability to adapt – adaptquickly to changes in scope or direction and be flexible to adopting changes quickly

- High level of motivation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little supervision

- Travel 60-80% (overnight travel required) with access to a major airport
