Our innovative client is on the lookout for a talented Scientist III specializing in Bioinformatics to become a key player on their Global Computational Biology and Data Sciences team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage cutting-edge statistics and machine learning technologies to drive the discovery of novel therapeutic targets, validate targets, expand disease indications, and identify crucial translational biomarkers.
What You'll Do:
- Design and implement machine learning models to analyze large-scale genomic datasets from human disease studies.
- Learn and apply your experience in single cell and spatial transcriptomics data analysis to gain deeper biological insights.
- Learn and apply your experience in biological pathways, data visualization, network, and systems biology a plus.
- Interpret and present analysis results to colleagues and collaborators in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements:
- Strong scientific understanding and experience in statistical and machine learning approaches in applying to bioinformatics.
- Experience in programming languages like Python and R.
- Good understanding of biology a plus.
- Ph.D or Master’s degree in a related scientific discipline (Computer Science, Genomics, Biostatistics or Bioinformatics)
