Overview

A multidisciplinary position requiring engineering skills in the areas of industrial, commercial and business facilities and equipment.  It embraces the design, installation, operation, optimization, maintenance, modification, construction, modernization and protection of physical facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities

Essential

• Provide engineering consulting services and recommendations to all Melaleuca departments.
• Preparation of project cost estimates; planning and scheduling of work; providing required parts, materials, and equipment needed project.
• Review operational efficiencies in manufacturing and distribution and make recommendations for improvement where appropriate.

• Performs other duties as assigned or needed.

Qualifications

Essential

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Approximate years of experience 0-5 years.
• Must have a basic understanding of, and a proficiency in the following areas:
  • Computer Programs
    • Microsoft Office
    • SolidWorks (or equivalent)
    • AutoCAD
  • Electrical Systems
    • Safety
    • troubleshooting
  • Mechanical Systems
    • Safety
    • Troubleshooting
  • Equipment and Facility Maintenance
    • Understanding and interpretation of drawings and specifications
  • Economics
    • Industrial equipment specification and justification
  • Administration
    • Project administration and management
