Overview
We are looking for a Video Producer/Editor as both an accomplished production specialist and an accomplished video and audio editor. This individual has mastered advanced techniques in both categories.
Responsibilities
Our Video Producer/Editor is both an accomplished production specialist and an accomplished video and audio editor. This individual has mastered advanced techniques in both categories.
In addition, a Video Producer/Editor has developed skills in overseeing and managing video projects from inception through completion. Specifics needed for this position include; strong organizational skills, communication skills, leadership skills, advanced writing skills, an understanding of good storytelling techniques, and being imaginative and creative in making projects interesting and compelling.
A Video Producer/Editor will also learn and develop directing skills. Like a music conductor, a director orchestrates each video project making important and specific content decisions during shooting and editing. Those decisions are based on a depth of understanding and experience leading to successful outcomes.
Qualifications
A Senior Producer/Editor has at least 7 years of professional production experience working as a Producer. A Senior Video Producer/Editor is an advanced version of a Producer/Editor. Addtional skills and capabilities include even more advanced skills in script writing, location scouting, talent auditioning, music selection, single camera studio and field directing and shooting, multi-camera live sudio directing, etc. Senior Video Producer/Editor is also a very capable Adobe After Effects animator, well versed in video colorizing, and experienced in audio sweetening.
