Full Charge Bookkeeper/Accountant

We are looking for an experienced accounting professional to join our company as a Full Charge Bookkeeper. As part of our team, you will manage multiple client’s company ledgers, process payroll, and reconcile bank accounts. Additionally, you will assist leadership with reporting and regulatory requirements. Our ideal candidate has several years of prior bookkeeping experience, expert-level knowledge of QuickBooks software, and experience preparing financial statements. You also need communication skills to explain financial concepts to other employees.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Process quarterly and annual payroll reports
• Perform account reconciliations
• Remit payroll taxes, sales taxes, use taxes, and income taxes
• Perform data entry and administrative duties
• Create financial statements and related financial reports
• Account for fixed assets
• Maintain a coherent system of accounts, with a supporting filing system

Requirements and Qualifications

Prior experience with accounting or bookkeeping

Experience with QuickBooks is a must.

Experience with QuickBooks online, is a plus.

Proficiency in MS Office

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration (preferred)

Analytical/data-driven mindset; good with numbers and spreadsheets

Strong communication skills

Excellent attention to detail with strong interpersonal skills

Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers

Pay: Based on experience

Supplemental pay: Performance based bonus and additional PT earned over 40-hour workweek

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32,000.00 - $42,000.00 per hour
