Summary: The IT helpdesk administrator is responsible for coordinating all IT helpdesk activities and will provide administrative support for the CIO and IT team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties as assigned.

  • Receive, document, and prioritize IT requests and assign tickets to appropriate IT staff.
  • Manage/administer the helpdesk system.
  • Provide 1st level user support and perform initial troubleshooting for IT requests.
  • Procure and issue IT equipment and track asset inventory (laptops, monitors, keyboards, etc.).
  • Create and manage reports in the helpdesk system.
  • Responsible for new hire procedures and IT training.
  • Create user profiles/accounts for new hires in the appropriate systems,
  • Manage printing and tracking of all employee badges/door access cards.
  • Track and process IT invoices and vendor contracts.
  • Assist CIO with all administrative duties of the IT Department.
  • Oversee cleanliness and organization of IT Department.
  • Monitor security systems for camera outages and alarm anmoalies.
  • Assist in coordinating office events and celebrations.
  • Other duties as assigned by IT management.

Work Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday through Friday.

Occasional nights or weekends may be required for maintenance, projects, systems updates, or outages.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma required, college degree preferred. Minimum two years of administrative support or IT helpdesk experience required.

Special Training: Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and have experience working in a helpdesk system.

Special Skills: Communication and organizational skills, an attention to detail, and the ability to multitask is required.

Physical Demands: It is necessary to talk, hear, sit, walk, type, and write and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
