Drywall Foreman
Nashville, TN
We are seeking an experienced drywall foreman to lead crews on commercial projects throughout the Nashville area. This is a full-time position paying $28-30 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise crews of drywall hangers and finishers (5-10 people)
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine drywall requirements and quote materials needed
- Measure and mark openings for electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Schedule daily workload to meet project deadlines and manage job site efficiently
- Inspect installed drywall sheets for defects and accuracy to specifications
- Coordinate delivery and unloading of drywall materials at job sites
- Train new crew members on proper drywall techniques and safety protocols
- Ensure work complies with building codes and standards for fire resistance and moisture control
Requirements:
- 5 years experience in drywall installation and finishing
- 2 years experience as a foreman or crew lead
- Strong leadership abilities - able to motivate crews to meet goals
- Excellent time management and ability to multitask
- Reliable transportation to get to and from job sites
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs regularly
- Willing to work overtime as needed to meet tight project deadlines
- OSHA 10 safety certification a plus
