The Application Developer is responsible for developing new applications, maintaining existing applications, and providing production support and custom solutions leveraging SQL and .Net technologies based upon identified business requirements and use cases.
Primary Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support small or large, complex deployments, configurations, and expansions of systems through analysis and customization.
- Serve as a primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all development related issues, concerns, and needs.
- Ensure applications integrate seamlessly with the existing infrastructure of the company.
- Design, develop, and implement solutions to further expand our use of technology across the organization in accordance with business objectives.
- Effectively translate use cases and requirements into user stories.
- Assist and provides technical quality oversight at various points throughout a project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field, plus a minimum of 3 years of experience with the following: SQL development, .Net Framework, C#, REST APIs, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, Stored Procedures and Web Services, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience is required.
- Thorough understanding of SQL Server and IIS and their interaction for use in a web environment.
- Experience working with Azure DevOps.
- Experience delivering product features using agile methodologies.
- Experience with SQL server 2012 and higher, development and programming.
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including (but not limited to) Outlook/Exchange, SharePoint.
- Experience managing full software development lifecycle from problem definition, requirements definition, design, development, testing and implementation.
- Familiarity or experience working with Angular a plus
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, meeting facilitation, negotiation, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be a team player.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver on customer expectations by producing high quality products timely and efficiently.
