Job Summary and Qualifications

The Director Accreditation is responsible for the development, implementation and coordination of accreditation and licensure survey processes for Memorial. The Director also develops, implements and directs accreditation and licensure survey readiness activities for the Memorial Health System as well as communicating accreditation/licensure information to team leaders and team members via education and track on-going communication, chart reviews, survey preparation activities, follow-up reports, etc.. The Director will also serve as primary liaison with accreditation agency (TJC) and regulatory (CMS) officials in all matters relating to accreditation/licensure surveys, coordinate Sentinel Event Alert Reviews, and collaborate with Corporate Ethics and Compliance Officer on ethics, compliance, and regulatory issues relating to patient care concerns. This position will also interpret standards for the following: Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations for hospitals; Federal regulations, i.e., CMS Conditions of Participation, serve as a central source of information for the functional teams, and facilitate Disease Specific Intercycle and CMIP activities.


What qualifications you will need:
  • Bachelors Degree required; Masters Degree preferred
  • 5 years of related acute care experience required; 5 years of experience in leadership
  • CPHQ highly preferred
