Central Sterile Technician
Job Posting for Central Sterile Technician at Memorial Hospital
- Education: High School Diploma or the equivalent (GED) preferred.
- License/Certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant is preferred.
- Experience: N/A
- Participation in a program for Operating Room and/or Central Supply Technician is preferred
Position Summary
The Central Sterile Technician prepares equipment and aids physician during treatments and examinations of patients.
May rotate between CSR and OR. May prepare rooms, sterilize instruments, equipment and supplies, and hand items to surgeon, obstetrician, or other medical practitioners. This is a new position due to growth/increased volume.
