Assistant, Facility and Operations Programming

The Opportunity

The Facility and Operations Programming Assistant will be responsible for direct oversight of invoicing, work orders, payroll, and other tasks assigned for the Facilities and Operations departments. This position will work alongside the Facilities and Operations departments.

In This Role You Will

• Assist Director of Arena Operations with scheduling, payroll, and invoicing.
• Assist with 24/7 Software admin and implementation processes throughout Facilities and Operations departments.
• Coordinate with HR team on required trainings and file/log appropriately
• Assist with the tracking & input of facility and operations work orders through 24/7 Software.
• Assist departments with payroll/timekeeping software.
• Assist departments with the processing of invoices and general AP process.
• Assist with a preventive maintenance schedule for all systems managed.
• Assist in the development and management of the Arena Operations, IT and Capital Improvement Project budgets as requested.
• Responsible for working with other Arena Operations personnel with regards to event planning and scheduling.
• Review timesheets, work schedules and wage computation for accuracy.
• Assist with day-to-day issues and support requests as needed.
• Other duties as assigned

The Experience You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2-3 years of experience with invoicing, scheduling, and payroll
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Excellent people skills, with an ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders at all levels within the organization
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient use of MS Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn applicable software platforms as needed

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of sports and entertainment, specifically NBA basketball.
