Job Description:

We are a growing business in need of a part-time Finance Accountant and Administrative Assistant to support our team. This position will primarily be responsible for handling various financial accounting tasks, as well as providing administrative support to local office. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. This will involve entering and coding financial transactions into our accounting software (QuickBooks), reconciling bank statements, and ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date. Archiving monthly accounting supporting documents to E-copy
  • Calculate employee payroll and income tax. This includes processing every half month payroll for our employees, calculating and withholding the appropriate taxes, and filing tax forms with the government.
  • Candidates should have experience using QuickBooks to manage payroll. This includes managing our 401k pension account, processing employee contributions, and ensuring compliance with government regulations.
  • Manage health insurance. This includes processing employee enrollments, managing claims, and ensuring compliance with government regulations.
  • Manage online bank payment against company approval policy, release week cash flow forecast report.
  • Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports. This includes ensuring that all invoices are paid on time and that all purchase orders and expense reports are accurately recorded.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents to ensure accuracy. This involves reviewing financial statements and other reports to ensure that they are accurate and free of errors.
  • Preparation of monthly financial statements and reports before 5th of every month. This includes balance sheet, income statement and assets depreciation, as well as preparing documents for annual audits and tax filings.
  • Provide administrative support to the office, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and organizing paperwork. This includes handling incoming and outgoing mail, filing documents, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Manage and maintain office supplies and equipment. This includes ordering office supplies, setting up and maintaining office equipment, and ensuring that the office is clean and organized.
  • Attend weekly meetings with China regional office colleague to provide updates on finance.
  • Other Temporary and urgent duties as assigned regarding finance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field preferred. However, candidates with equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Candidates should be comfortable using Excel for data entry and analysis.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Candidates should be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
  • Independ thinking and good logic skill, deadline orientated and teamwork spirit. Self- motivated, well organized, and able to learn & prioritize.
  • Familiar with online QuickBooks and payroll calculation a plus.

The successful candidate will work approximately 20-25 hours per week, with a fixed schedule of 3.5 hours in the office every weekday morning. Regular 4 hours weekly meeting in the afternoon, if you are interested in joining our team, please submit your resume.
