What We’re Looking For ...

Financial Industry Experience

• Minimum 3-4 years’ experience with data engineering, systems integration, or enterprise data management
• Proficient with data from major data vendors (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Factset, S&P, MSCI…)
• Well versed in data domains (e.g., security / instrument, and issuer identification, security master, market data, trades, holdings, entities, performance)
• Strong understanding of asset manager / services business functions and applications
• Experience with data requirements and data quality specifications
• Preferred: Prior experience implementing EDM platforms, data pipelines, data masters, and lake/warehouses in AWS, Azure with Snowflake or Databricks

Education & Certifications

• Degrees in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Finance
• Certifications in Azure, AWS, Snowflake, or similar technologies
• Preferred: Advanced degrees or industry certification such as the CFA

Technical Skills

Modeling and Database Design

• Proficiency with relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases
• Experience in designing and implementing logical and physical data models

Data Integration and ETL

• Strong skills in ETL/ELT process and pipeline development and implementation
• Experience with tools like SSIS, Informatica, Talend

Data Warehousing and BI

• Proven track record and proficiency working with data warehouses, lake houses, (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Fabric) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience with cloud data services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)

Programming and Scripting

• Proficiency in programming languages and scripting for data analysis, automation, and manipulation is highly desirable.
• Preferred: SQL, Python, Java, or Scala

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience working in technical / data team environment
• Understanding of data governance and quality standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $195,000.00 per year
