Loss Recovery Specialist (On-Site Hooksett, NH)

The Loss Recovery Specialist will play a pivotal role in recovering missing, stolen, or non-compliant client vehicles, employing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This role demands urgency in vehicle recovery and entails negotiating with vendors to minimize fees. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for information gathering and task execution. The Specialist will oversee the repossession process with vendors, aiming for swift vehicle recovery with a high success rate.

What your day will look like:

• Utilize critical thinking to develop strategies for locating and recovering missing, stolen, or non-compliant client vehicles.
• Negotiate with vendors to minimize fees associated with repossession and recovery processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to gather information and execute tasks effectively.
• Oversee the repossession process with vendors to ensure timely and successful vehicle recovery.
• Maintain a sense of urgency in vehicle recovery efforts.
• Implement measures to optimize cycle time and increase success rates of recovery.
• Provide regular updates on recovery efforts to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of recovery activities and expenses.
• Continuously evaluate and improve recovery strategies based on performance metrics.
• Analyzes information/processes and evaluate results for establishing best practices with the team and to benefit the Short-Term lease team, in collaboration with the Inventory Manager
• Reconcile & audit inventory on a consistent basis to identify any risks within portfolio.
• Flex to assist in other asset management functions and coverage as needed.

The experience and education you have:

• 1-3 years of experience in a role involving critical thinking, problem-solving, negotiation, and/or logistics.
• Experience in fleet management, asset recovery, repossession, or a related field preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business, Fleet Management, or equivalent work experience
