As part of the Animal Health Information Technology (IT) team, we are focused on Enterprise Data and Process Excellence across Animal Health. We are partnering with business leaders to provide technology solutions across (master) data that span end-to-end in Animal Health, that enable our company to be agile, data-focused and ensure reliability of processes across. The position reports to the Animal Health IT Enterprise Data & Process Excellence Product Line lead.
About the Position
As a Master Data Professional, you will engage across all levels of the organization to drive improvements and ensure alignment with the master data governance and processes. This role will be responsible for gathering these requirements and executing material master data initiatives that include the setup, maintenance and phase out of material master data in alignment with the governance structure around product lifecycle. This includes, but not limited to, rapid new product launches, compliant product change, artwork changes, and phase out of products.
This role has a high level of interaction with IT and Business at all levels, and as such, a strong customer service mindset is imperative. You must possess a strong change management skillset coupled with technical capabilities that enable you to advise and consult on the master data decisions to ensure material is managed properly across the lifecycle and our system landscape.
You will work in a professional and friendly environment, and be provided the opportunity to support, develop and improve our material master data governance and processes and impact key strategic business outcomes by supporting the Technology business unit.
Primary Responsibilities

Work closely with business partners; to identify and interpret business needs and respond with solutions to support the material master data needs.

Drive master data governance and process standardization with your business stakeholders.

Work effectively to quickly adapt to business needs to support material master data creation, changes, and deletions.

Support and be a key contributor to the product harmonization and standardization required to support the business.

Collaborate with stakeholders to drive consistency and accuracy in the material master data space.

Management - Responsible for design and implementation of strategic, aligned, and compliant solutions to support business initiatives. Support management vision, strategy, and policy for building a high-performance engagement model with business partners.

Process and Insight - Realize core sustainable processes and enablers of successful delivery. Practice and foster a mindset of leveraging analytics to gain insights and for data-focused decision making.

Relationships - Build exceptional relationships with stakeholders which are focused on meeting the business needs and most value for investments.

Organizational Change Management - Demonstrate and drive high quality change management practices with clients and stakeholders while implementing solutions that are sustainable. Be a role model of management capabilities and behaviors.

Global - Ensure that the solutions are aligned IT platforms and supports business strategy.

Your Profile
Minimum Education required:
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline
Require Experience and Skills:
-
3 to 5 years relevant work experience as a Project Manager, or a strong history of increased project coordination responsibilities on global projects.

3 to 5 years relevant work experience with Manufacturing/Supply Chain Platform areas or Divisional IT areas.

3 to 5 years of SAP and Material Master Data Management
-
1 to 2 years of MDG experience preferred.

Effective communication in English both verbal and written is required.

Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/French) preferred.

A demonstrated record of success as a Master Data Professional in the pharmaceutical/consumer manufacturing or related industry with deep knowledge on data and business processes and systems.

Ability to evaluate complex situations and processes and effectively integrate and synthesize the data to form a complete cohesive picture.

Proven self-starter with high standards of excellence and an innovative mind.

Exceptionally well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate and effectively influence stakeholders and business strategy.

The ability to navigate cross-divisional programs, coordinate projects and processes across regional/global boundaries, and build effective cross-functional teams.

Excellent communications skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels within the organization.
