This is an exciting opportunity to join the Pediatric & Hepatitis Vaccines Marketing Team to aid field execution for the portfolio.  This role will work closely with our brand strategy leads, customer marketing, field sales leadership, learning and development, and our Digital Engagement Teams, to ensure a cohesive portfolio strategy.

Through digital listening and patient analytics, we are able to recognize our customers’ needs and strive to provide solutions to meet them. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Pediatric Vaccines Portfolio as the Strategy Point for Rotavirus.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the strategy for the Rotavirus franchise while also directing prioritized initiatives across the pediatric portfolio.

This person will play a critical role in developing and iterating on brand strategy and will work closely with other brand strategy leads, customer marketing, field sales guidance, learning and development, and our Digital Engagement Teams, to ensure a cohesive portfolio strategy.

The position is based out of Upper Gwynedd, PA and will report directly to the US Marketing Leader.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and iterating on the brand strategy across HCP customer segments, including incorporating the L3 framework, while partnering with brand and extended team colleagues across our company to ensure strategic choices maximize performance

  • Evaluate and implement innovative engagement options with focus on digital and non-traditional customer engagement (physician, consumer, distributor, etc.)

  • Guide competitive readiness activities, including recommendations for life cycle management investments

  • Guide sub-teams in support of key marketing work-streams

  • Direct forecasting & demand planning

  • Collaborate closely with sales teams (including sales leadership) for input on ongoing strategy/resource development

  • Directing insight-focused market research initiatives and leveraging results to inform brand strategy

  • In conjunction with marketing partners, customer operations and sales leadership, develop, create and monitor key performance indicators and quickly implement changes based on key learnings

  • Significant partnership with global franchise, customer operations, training, finance, etc. to achieve objectives

Education Minimum:

  • BA/BS

  • Preferred: MBA

Knowledge and Skills:  

  • Minimum of 5 years of combined sales, marketing, market research, promotion knowledge

  • Demonstrated ability to make strategic choices using fundamental marketing tools (e.g. segmentation, positioning, etc.)

  • Strong presentation and engagement skills, including the ability to communicate complex information in a succinct and simplified manner

  • Demonstrated financial planning & budget management and analytical skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional influence role

  • Demonstrated team leadership

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of medical / legal review of promotional or tactical execution material

  • Prior knowledge of vaccine marketplace
