The Pharmacokinetics, Dynamics, Metabolism, and Bioanalytic (PDMB) function of our company's Research Laboratory is seeking a motivated post-doctoral fellow with expertise in machine learning to transform the way of drug discovery and preclinical development.
The candidate will play a key role in inventing, experimenting, and applying machine learning-based approaches to push the boundary of molecular generative modeling. The candidate will be part of an interdisciplinary team working closely with research functions across our Company's global organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
Design and develop algorithms in molecular generative modeling.
Write peer-reviewed papers and present research internally and externally.
Education Minimum Requirements:
A Ph.D. or you will have completed your PhD within the next year, with 0-1 years of experience in Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Chemical Informatics, Engineering, or related fields
Required Experience and Skills:
Strong problem-solving attitude, high motivation to learn, spirit of innovation and creativity.
Proficiency with statistics, discrete math, statistical inference, algorithm development, and/or probabilistic modeling for machine learning and other applications with diverse data sets
Strong technical expertise in Python, and machine learning platforms such as Pytorch, Tensorflow etc.
Strong research track record of publications and/or presentations in the field of machine learning, computational chemistry, computational biology or related fields
Strong collaboration and communication skills and ability to collaborate and influence a cross-functional team.
