Position Summary: The Field Services Team Leader position at Mercury Broadband will assist with all day-to-day technician responsibilities taking place in the field. This individual will serve a wide range of company needs including accelerating productivity and company profits through support and recommendations. The position is primarily accountable for assisting the Field Operations Manager and the Field Service team with day-to-day responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support Field Services Team and Customers
- Leads and manages a team of field install technicians
- Assists in managing fleet vehicles and conducts vehicle inspections
- Responsible for managing business installations
- Manage budget coordinate material, tools, and inventory
- Recommend strategies to meet sales goals
- Implement safety programs
- Supervision, training, and support of new Field Technicians
- Coordinate and organize weekly meetings with Field Technicians and provide feedback and updates
- Ensure ongoing install and repair operations
- Assist Sales Team with generating new & supporting existing customers
- Attend Weekly team meetings and provide feedback and updates
Skills and Requirements:
- Follow cabling procedures for wiring towers, homes, and businesses
- Comfortable working on ladders, roofs, towers, attics, crawl spaces, and other confined and elevated locations
- Mechanical aptitude
- Identifying process improvement opportunities and support process improvement programs.
- Knowledge of and ability to operate basic hand and power tools
- Computer skills and proficiency with computers and Microsoft Suite
- Basic computer networking skills and knowledge
- Use of PC based applications to program and diagnose various communications equipment
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Self-Motivated
- Customer service oriented and professional in appearance
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
