Job Summary
The Fleet Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and developing new account opportunities for the sales of used equipment, pursuing and following up on sales opportunity leads, and leveraging existing customer relationships to ensure awareness of used equipment inventory for sale.

Duties
- Target and acquire new business
- Build and form new partnerships with existing and potential clients
- Identify the decision makers and key stakeholders within prospective organization
- Conduct regular phone calls with existing and potential customers to market equipment inventory
- Evaluate customer applications to determine a customer's equipment needs
- Conduct sales presentations, highlighting the benefits of equipment, and emphasizing the advantages of working with Mercury GSE
- Produce equipment quotes and present the quoted solutions to the customer
- Manage client relationship through all phases of the sales cycle
- Meet or exceed sales goals
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Mercury GSE reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
Education and Experience
- High school graduate or equivalent
- College Degree preferred
- At least 3 years experience in sales, customer service, or related field.
- Prior experience in sales of ground support equipment or heavy equipment highly desirable
- Experienced and confident in cold calling and telemarketing
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proven sales ability; possess strong qualifying and prospecting skills
- Ability to build rapport with potential and existing customers.
- Understanding the selling cycle for building relationships and developing long-term solutions.
- Basic financial knowledge of leasing and leasing strategies.
