What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at Mercury Systems?
In this role, you would have the opportunity to ensure that we provide a quality product to our customers through diligent and effective inspections of products and materials.
Job Responsibilities
- Supporting incoming, in-process and final inspection.
- Reviewing supporting data and documentation and generating inspection records.
- Enforcing FOE/FOD, ESD and calibration protocols.
- Generating non-conforming material records in our Quality Applications and ERP System.
- Performing a variety of Quality Assurance related tasks in support of engineering and operations.
- 3 years of experience in electronic and mechanical inspection.
- Experience with mechanical inspection tools.
- Strong knowledge of J-STD-001 Class 3 and/or IPC 610
- Experience working in an ISO-9001 and/or AS9100 Quality System environment.
- Ability to work under a microscope for long periods of time as needed.
- Limited travel for training and/or supplier source inspection purposes may sometimes be required (within 75 miles).
- J-STD-001 Class 3 and/or IPC 610 Certification preferred.
- AOI experience preferred.
- AS9102 (First Article Inspection) experience preferred.
- Experience with a Quality Application such as TIPQA, QCBD, etc. preferred.
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint ERP System preferred.
