What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at MERCURY SYSTEMS?
In this role:
You will be responsible for implementing quality control objectives and plans. You will perform packaging line and manufacturing product inspections and/or audits. Ensure raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company standards.
You are responsible for:
- Performing inspection and reporting of incoming, in-process, final, and outgoing product/sub-assemblies to configuration and requirements as specified in documentation
- Performing consignment kit audits
- Sorting and reporting rejected material specified in purge request
- Entering inspection and audit information into required database
- Maintaining records using PC and mainframe terminals to access
- Filing incoming component device history records
- Conducting inspections at First Article, in-process, in-coming and completes the final inspections
- Performing other miscellaneous duties as assigned
- Complying with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience with solder, chip and wire inspection
- Strong mechanical measurement experience (GD&T)
- Familiar with Mil-Std 883
Preferred Qualifications:
- Well organized, detail oriented, conscientious about work quality

Full-Time Equivalent Annual Salary Range: $32,240 - $48,000 for a Non-Technical Int Specialist at Oxnard CA USA
